How are your services so affordable?
Simple! We're not out here making a living doing this. We love to plan travel and want to share our passion for Japan with others. For that reason, we aren't selling any products or taking a cut off any sales either. You are simply paying for some of our "extra" time, we are more than happy to provide a service that spreads this great culture and appreciation for Japan, educating others on how to travel responsibly.

What is NOT included in any of your services?
All of our services are outlined within their respective pages. Please note we are NOT a licensed travel agency and are not paid through any of the places or services we recommend. That being said, these services are designed to offer support during the pre-trip planning period only. They are not suitable, or priced, for real-time support while travelling in Japan. Please do not book any of these services to use when you are already travelling. Any bookings made with the intention of using while travelling in Japan will be cancelled and immediately refunded. We also do not book anything for you and will never ask for your credit card or other direct payment information. All invoices for prepaid work will be sent through Venmo or Paypal and any booking links or advice will link to third-party sites we use and trust ourselves, we cannot take responsibility for any cancellations or other issues with vendors, tickets, transportation or lodgings and ask any resulting issues or questions directly related to such be handled directly between yourself and the party in question.

I can't book ___ tickets, can you help!?
The nature of traveling in Japan right now is there are many high demand activities. Where we can absolutely never guarantee you'll be able to secure that ticket, booking or even be successful once you've arrived in Japan, what we can advise you on is the process and even serve as a reminder to get online and book when available. We have been up many nights booking Ghibli park tickets at 2AM and Kirby or Pokemon Cafe reservations at 4AM, sometimes failing due to no fault of our own. Please understand this is part of traveling and planning this wonderful vacation, we will help find alternative activities if this does happen. Did you know there are multiple locations outside of Tokyo for both of these cafe's!? We sure did.

What if I'm not happy after purchase?
We're hear to help you make the most of your planning and trip to Japan. If you're not happy with our advice or services for any reason, we would like to help work it out with you. That being said, please be sure you fully understand what service you are purchasing and the amount of support we can reasonably provide. See questions above in case you are looking for a direct travel advisor that can help with purchasing, translation, major theme parks and more. We are just a couple of travelers looking to pass on our earned experience and common sense advice. We have a no refunds policy due to the nature of this work, but if you are very unsatisfied for any reason, we would love the opportunity to work that out with you.

When is my start date? How soon can I ask questions?
We'll agree to a start and end date within the invoice sent to be paid. You are free to ask questions immediately after that given date. When your plan is due to expire you’ll receive an email from us to remind you of that. If you’d like to continue using the service, and we have availability, you’ll have the chance to renew your current plan or choose another one. 

How quickly will I receive replies to my emails?
Where we strive for very quick responses, please keep in mind we are managing this outside of full time work and family life, we are also in the EST time zone. You can expect to receive replies between 2-3 hours after any email sent within business hours, and we will finish answering an email or question asked within your allotted plan, even if that reply falls outside of the time purchased. We will also respond if more research is needed and provide ETA if it is something outside of our normal scope and experience.
